JoJo and Stacy's Elopement Adventure on Willow Sky Ranch
Have you ever met another human and their soul and your soul just gelled together as one?
When I saw Stacy and JoJo for the first time I knew the 4.5-hours they just drove to have their photos taken with me at Willow Sky Ranch were going to be so much fun.
*Please note these pictures were for fun and the elopement adventure was for promotional purposes only.
No rings were exchanged this time around. Smiles, laughter, a little bit of champagne, some pizza, and maybe some swear words were present for this get together.
Willow Sky Ranch is located in Willow City, a short 20-minute scenic drive up TX-16 from Fredericksburg. The venue is available for your wedding or elopement event and can sleep up to 20-people at unique locations around the ranch. The event hall can hold up to 150 of your closest friends and family.
Shall we begin?
The ranch is quiet here in the morning except for the birds and a random donkey laugh. The birds make it known nature is still loud in the most peaceful times and the donkey laugh makes you sneak a smile. When you walk onto the grass from any of the cabins you will get to enjoy the beautiful color in the sky. Spring is especially nice here in Willow City Loop.
Now let's dive into the good stuff!
Blumen Miester Flower Shop here in New Braunfels provided the amazing floral for this ranch style elopement at Willow Sky Ranch.
After getting ready in the Boar's Lodge we sorted a few flowers from the property that we picked to add to Stacy's hair.
Walking to the building built in the 1880s.
Ok.
"For this part, I want the two of you to look at each other with a serious look without smiling, standing over there in front of the old building built in the 1880s."
.
They laughed hysterically.
It was awesome.
I suggested we have a look inside the historic building.
This is as far as we got.
"Let's try this building again. Then we'll walk back to the fence we walked past walking in."
The fence we walked past.
Another fence.
This fence had wildflowers and boots.
Fences with boots are located throughout the Willow City Loop drive. This is a very scenic drive during the Texas Bluebonnet season (mid-April). We had the pleasure of having a stunning sunset and blooming yellow wildflowers present for this story of love.
Then you have Bailey (white dog) in the back.
It was so much fun trying to have them balance on one leg, bend and kiss each other.
Perpendicular to the fence.
Wait...
Is that?
Nawwwww.
(JoJo has a big smile right now)
Is that a mechanical bull?
"Yes it is!"
We have to have pictures.
Woo!
That was fun.
Oh look a tractor!
I swear these two were like kids in a candy store running around experimenting with anything they could.
That made me the happy grandparent feeding the grandkids candy off the shelves!
But seriously, this was just the first part of your elopement adventure.
The beautiful thing about elopements you can do whatever you want.
That is exactly what we did.
Stacy and JoJo did a quick outfit change and we experimented a little bit more as we waited for the sun to set a little bit further in the country sky.
Yes, that was a shameless promotion.
Back to this adventure!
This is the juicy stuff.
These are the photos I love to do! The bride and groom creative portraits at sunset.
I swear, all these two humans do is laugh.
Definitely not a bad thing.
Almost finished, I promise.
You leave them alone for one minute with the bottle of champagne.
Let's try this again.
Stacy and JoJo's elopement story ended there.
We were going to do photos under the stars. However, we ate pizza and chatted for a bit afterwards instead. With the long ride home we decided to call it a night.
I did venture out later to capture the stars in the sky.
Do you want to schedule your phone call and discuss what type of adventure we can put together?
